If you do not know the exact address you can use one of the common IP addresses and port number to identify it on a web browser. Address-based attacks are possible when the IP address is at all the same, or similar to a known Web server. This can be done by typing in a numeric IP address in a web browser, with the expectation that it will be redirected to a web server. If the target is present, a web server will be returned as expected.
Try looking for it in your computer's DHCP client settings. If it shows your current IP address, you can likely identify the device. Try a different IP address, and if it returns a page, you've found the device.
If you can't find the device, you may be able to find it with a traceroute utility. Use this command: traceroute [target IP address] and follow the hops from your computer to the target IP address.
If you see many hops in the trace, that means your computer is connecting to a number of intermediate devices between you and the target. The fewer hops you see, the closer you are to the target.
Since we now know the device's IP address, it's time to take a few steps to change its network settings to make it harder for someone else to connect.
If the device has been configured for DHCP, disable it in the Network & Sharing Center. Select Set up a new connection or network, and then click Properties. On the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) setting, select Not using a connection.
If the device hasn't been configured for DHCP, disable the device from the Properties window. The setting will be labeled Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), or Automatic (DHCP).
Once you've disabled the device, you need to log off and log back in to make the changes take effect. Doing so will also prompt the computer to request a new IP address, allowing the device to obtain a new address. The new address should be one that you haven't previously seen, since it will no longer be in the same range as your old address.
To view this new address, type cmd, then type ipconfig /all. Look for the IP address under the IPv4 setting.
If you see multiple addresses, you may have a number of devices with different IP addresses connected to your computer. If you can identify the IP address of the device be359ba680
